Where to Buy Fresh Flowers in Los Angeles: 3 Places I Personally Recommend

There is a Harvard study that found that having fresh flowers at home can have a positive effect on our mood and emotional wellbeing. As someone who has always believed in the connection between nature and the spaces we live in, this makes perfect sense to me.

That is why I wanted to share three of my favorite places to buy fresh flowers if you live in Los Angeles. These are the places I personally use to keep fresh botanicals around my home.

1. Los Angeles Flower Market

My top recommendation will always be the Los Angeles Flower Market in Downtown LA. Here you can find an incredible variety of seasonal fresh flowers at very affordable prices.

Yes, driving downtown can be a bit of a trek, but if you are nearby, it is absolutely worth stopping by. You can find some of the most beautiful flowers, often incredibly fresh and able to last for days at home.

One trick I have learned is to keep the contact information of your favorite vendors. Many of them will take orders directly through text and some can even arrange delivery to your home.

From orchids and anemones to cosmos, dahlias, snapdragons, dried flowers and, of course, roses, the variety and quality you can find here is amazing. It is also one of my favorite places to discover flowers I would not normally find at a traditional grocery store.

2. Trader Joe's

It is no secret that Trader Joe's is one of the best places to find affordable, fresh flowers. The variety is smaller than what you will find at the Flower Market, but the convenience makes it one of my regular stops.

You can easily pick up a beautiful assortment of flowers and create your own bouquets for your home, office or even a special event.

One of my favorite little details is that they will often give you a wine box to carry your flowers home. It keeps everything upright and protected so the flowers do not get damaged while driving.

3. Good Eggs

Last but not least is a discovery I made more recently, Good Eggs.

Good Eggs is an online grocery store focused on high quality food and products for the home and kitchen. I have been ordering my groceries from them for months, and I love not only the quality of the ingredients but also the variety.

You can find fruits, vegetables, meats and specialty ingredients that you do not always see at a traditional supermarket. But one of my favorite discoveries has been their flower selection.

They offer everything from proteas and wildflowers to beautiful and unexpected bouquets that instantly brighten a space with fresh botanicals. I love that I can add flowers to my regular grocery order and have them arrive directly at my home.

Why I Always Keep Fresh Flowers at Home

These are the three places I personally use to keep flowers in my home.

For me, flowers are not simply decoration. They elevate a space, bring life into a room and genuinely put me in a better mood. Every time we have guests, the flowers are also one of the first things people notice and admire.

I believe our surroundings affect the way we feel, and bringing something living and beautiful from nature into our everyday spaces is one of the simplest ways to change the atmosphere of a home.

So if you want to bring a little more beauty and happiness into your everyday life, start with flowers. Place them on your dining table, beside your bed, in your kitchen or wherever you spend the most time.

You do not need an elaborate arrangement. Sometimes a few beautiful stems are enough to completely transform a space.
